The sharp intake of a surprised breath
Steel on leather
Moonlight reflects along a hastily-drawn blade
Clickety clack
Feet maneuver on the cobblestones
Pitter patter
Blood spills
Grunt, cough
Body slumps
No sound heard
Possessions removed
Soft footfalls
Survivor leaves
Rustle, nibble
The rats come to feed
