There are two categories of entities that I will be speaking about here: Vampires and Weres.
Each section will start with information about my ties to the type in question. I will then follow with some links where one can find more specific information about each.

Weres
General:
Weres are of all kinds, not just those who present an affinity for physical lycanthropy (shape-shifter).  Even those who possess a close-knit tie to a specific animal (or animals) can belong in this category.

Personal Ties:
There is evidence of shape-shifting in my closest spirit family members, though I have not displayed many of these attributes. As can be guessed by the opening to my page, I have a close affinity to wolves and their lives. Most of my were-like attributes are emotional in nature, rarely crossing the border into the physical realm (the only noted physical aspect is a change in the color of my eyes, from the green they are naturally to a light, bright yellowish-green color; this change does not occur often). Such emotions are more urges than anything, and some are quite strong. The urge experienced most frequently is this: to run out into the woods, meet with those of like mind and spirit, and run, hunt, and live with them, at least for a night; let the adrenaline rush of the hunt be my energy, the crisp night air feed my lungs, the fresh kill feed my family, the soft ground be my kindred's bed. All of this I long for, and sometimes more. Just the thought of such things, even as I write this, fill me with an excitement nearly unmatched by any other event. I have spoken at length to my spirit-family (as I have come to call them) about such matters. They have all experienced similar urges, some more than others, though in this lifetime we have as yet been unable to fulfill them. We will see what the future holds in this regard.

As for my traditional family, whom I share a direct blood relation to, I believe we also have some strong magickal and animal ties, but unfortunately either no one believes or no one dares talk about it. The only person I have been able to speak to about such things is my sister, as she is more or less of like mind with me, as far as these things are concerned.
